Parth Kotia.

Parth has been telling stories to children, and coaching children to tell stories, since 2019 in the Storytelling Club founded and directed by Pinal Patel.

 

Parth loves stories and storytelling. He has his own style of telling stories and engaging audience members.

 

He has graduated from a Storytelling Club Storytelling Course taught by Pinal Patel

 

Parth works with children in numerous schools.  He works especially with stories based on life skills, and with imaginary stories.  He also uses storytelling to help students improve their English language abilities.  Parth is fluent in Gujarati, Hindi, and English.

Pinal Patel.

Pinal is a leading storyteller in Surat.  She has been running a Storytelling Club in Surat since 2011.  The Storytelling Club offers Storytelling Classes in schools, and at the Storytelling Club space (after school and on weekends).  Pinal loves being with children – she loves telling stories to them, and coaching them to tell stories.  Pinal also trains many teachers and parents in ways of telling and discussing stories.

 

Pinal is a Commerce Graduate, and has also completed a Diploma Course in Storytelling at Kathalaya (directed by Geeta Ramanujam) in Bangalore.  Pinal has written a children's story book titled, Aani and Indian States.  She has also written a book titled, "Story Voooooory: 51 Ways to Tell Stories for Parents, Teachers, and All Who Work with Children".

 

Pinal has founded and directs a publishing house, Niaa Creations Private Limited.  Some of the books Niaa Creations publishes are conceptualised by its team members and written by children.  Niaa Creations publishes a newspaper, "Positiveday", which presents only positive news.  Niaa Creations also presents an annual Literature Festival named Hubbub Storyfest.  And -- the Storytelling Club has opened a library which includes cafe.  Wherever the books and stories are, the Storytelling Club and Niaa Creations there!

 

Pinal often tells stories that are based on life-skills.  Pinal is very into imagination, and often tells imaginary stories.  She tells stories to children based on emotions as a way of helping the children manage their emotions.  She also tells stories from a wide variety of regions, including Gujarat.  Pinal is fluent in Gujarati, Hindi, and English.
