Priyanka is a professional
storyteller. In addition to telling stories herself, she is a storytelling
coach who works closely with children, schools, teachers, trainers, and
parents. Her mission of empowering minds
started in 2005 when she began conducting storytelling-related interactive
sessions for teachers, young adults, and children at Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan
(New Delhi). In 2019 her work spread to different states of India and abroad
via online mode. Since 2020, Priyanka has been
associated with Ucatapult Foundation. Under "Project Buniyaad" she
facilitates story reading and emotional development of children in rural
Bihar. Under "Project Cheshta" she trains Government school
teachers in remote villages of Maharashtra. She believes teachers are the
builders of the country's future hence through online mode she has been
training them on ways they can use storytelling to make their teaching
increasingly effective. She has studied extensively at
the National School of Drama (New Delhi) and is a playback theatre
enthusiast. "We are the stories we tell ourselves. We tell a story each
time we communicate within and without", she says. She has performed in various
ticketed stage plays, such as "Women of Ramayana", "Sakharam
Binder", and "Kyu Nahi", to name some of the most-loved ones.
These productions have occurred under the umbrella of "Ek Junoon",
a popular theatre group. Priyanka's workshops are
highly-interactive. Much inner growth occurs during the trainings she gives.
Her program "Ekk Kahani" is open to adults who wish to develop
their storytelling skills. Her "Become a Storyteller" course can be
designed for people of all ages. To book a free trial session of either of
the above, please contact her. Priyanka loves opportunities and
is very receptive to them. She thrives on exploring and sharing new ways to
express and empower oneself, and to celebrate life. Contact 98116 16917 priyanka.psm@gmail.com
